Where to start? 
 
Agate soothes our fears and calms anger and frustration, it allows us to accept things as they are which relieves anxiety and stress. 
 
It acts as both a harmonious and balancing crystal as well as stimulating our energy flow and enhancing our personal power. 
 
There is a highly protective and grounding energy to Agate which brings a deeper feeling of security, it seems to create good luck and abundance but in reality after working with it recently I’ve found it to be wonderfully cleansing, dispelling unwanted energies, self doubt and negative self talk and instilling a deeper appreciation and understanding which in turn brings about more favorable and desirable outcomes. 
Agate seems to promote a kind of inner stability, composure and self confidence, it gives a little stamina and endurance to see things through and increases mental function, analytical faculties and concentration.
Agate’s generally give us a boost in strength, courage and vitality and can amplify the body's natural healing while staving off cravings, addiction to anything negative in nature. 
Great for pregnant Mothers, postnatal depression and apparently it can encourage lactation if placed between the breasts. 
Lastly, it is used as a protective talisman not only personally but while traveling and working, bringing different qualities needed depending on the job role.
