Larimar is known for its captivating blue color, reminiscent of clear Caribbean waters. Also referred to as the "Atlantis Stone" or the "Dolphin Stone,"

The stone's name is derived from a combination of "Larissa," the name of the daughter of the stone's discoverer, and "mar," which means sea in Spanish.
